Overall: I really liked the Luminous Creme Blush and definitely will be wearing it a lot. These work well over lipstick also to give you some shine, if that’s your bag, baby. I like this one because it’s more pigmented. They have a very slight vanilla scent to them.Įxposed is a sheer grape purple shade.

These do feel sticky, but that’s what makes them last. This is nearly clear on my lips, it just gives me mega-shine. This shade is great for fair skinned ladies especially.īared is a sheer peach shade. Unlike other creme blushes I have used, this one actually lasts a really long time.

It’s a really pigmented blush and super easy to blend into the skin giving you a great flushed look. Plum Satin Luminous Creme Blush is a berry-pink shade with just a touch of shimmer. The include Momordica Grosvenorii Fruit Extract (rich in antioxidants), Jojoba Seed Oil (emollient source of vitamin E), Meadowfoam Seed Oil (conditioning agent) and Sweet Almond Oil (rich in oleic and linoleic acids, proteins and vitamin D). Mighty Shine Lip Gel’s have major high shine and are sheer. Mighty Shine Lip Gel in Bared and Exposed They are oil-free, contain vitamins C & E, Allantoin (moisturizing botanical that is also an anti-irritant) and Jojoba Esters (emollient). They have a slight shimmer to them, but nothing glittery or obvious. Luminous Creme Blushes are super creamy blushes that come in a good sized pot. I'm not salivating quite as hungrily over the collection as many of my compatriots, but it's hard to look at these clothes and not acknowledge that Marc Jacobs is an utterly masterful designer and creative thinker. To remind us all that this was still extremely expensive clothing, there were plenty of lush materials like sequins,, fur and velvet (which seems to be the fabric of the week). There were retro references to his own classics like the grunge collection for Perry Ellis and various other items from fashion gone by, like Peter Pan collars, discount ralph lauren polo shirts, classic trench coats and long casual skirts.The entire collection was rendered in a palette of subdued neutrals, featuring heavily shades of beige and grey. This collection may not have been particularly “innovative,” but it's just like Jacobs to decide that innovation is passÃ© and that he'll do what he pleases, regardless of the buzzwords overtaking the rest of fashion. And what a show it was – the reaction so far has been practically rhapsodic – fashion editors everywhere are panting and drooling like mere commoners! And why wouldn't they be? It's Marc Freakin' Jacobs. In a way, I suppose, polo shirts for men, it's sort of the same thing, just for a vastly different group of people.Marc had another right-on-time start this year, causing latecomer and heavyweight AndrÃ© Leon Talley to stand (the horror) to watch the show. It's the show that everyone wants to go to and no one can stop talking about, and it may have produced more activity from the people I follow on Twitter than the Super Bowl.
